Club 801 Summer Programs 2021

We're very excited for our summer camp lineup!  2020 saw the launch of our summer programs featuring small groups, camps, clinics, BYU specialty clinics for boys and girls, and having top players, and instructors in the country in our gyms.  

We are making it even better this year with several different products to help your athlete achieve their potential.

We welcome all athletes from all clubs or schools who want to achieve their potential.

Summer 2020 Training

Girls Small Groups - Specialized fundamental training, finishing with play (Jr High to HS)

Work to improve your skills one day at a time. The goal of small group training is to give athletes more one-on-one time with a coach so they can improve specific skills.

Each session, athletes will spend time working on fundamental skills they would like to improve on, breaking them down and analyzing them, while getting specific feedback from a coach. They will then put those skills into a game like play at the end of each session to apply what they have been learning. 

Your athlete will be with the same coach and the same group for the duration of the session. Our goal is to give each athlete the best learning environment possible with positive, detailed, and specific feedback with a coach specialized to their position.

Session #1 - June 1 - June 17, TTH, 3 weeks, 6 sessions, $290. (Time 9-10:30, 10:30-12)

Session #2 - June29 - July 8, TTH, 2 weeks, 4 sessions, $225. (Time 9-10:30, 10:30-12)

Volley Academy - Fun First time introduction to Volleyball! Ages 8-13

Come let your athlete learn the sport of volleyball with a fun, positive coach!  Volley Academy will be an introduction to the basic skills of volleyball that your athlete would need to learn to get started in the sport INCLUDING mindset.    1-2 skills taught a week followed by fun play at the end of each session.

 

The goal is to teach them basic fundamentals of each skill and to have fun while doing it!

The athletes will play with light volleyballs designed for younger athletes.   We want them to have a great first experience with the sport of volleyball.

 

Boys and girls are welcome at this camp. It will be for ages 8-13.

 

Three Sessions of Volley Academy - 

Session #1 - May 31-June 16, MW 9-10 a.m., 3 weeks - 6 sessions, $160

Session #2 - June 28-July 7, MW 9-10 a.m., 2 weeks - 4 sessions, $125

Session #3 - July 20-July 29, TTH 9-10 a.m., 2 weeks - 4 sessions $125

High School Prep Camp - Be Prepared for High School Tryouts (During the dead period for High Schools) in your position mentally and physically

Position specific training for outside hitters, opposites, middle blockers, setters and liberos.  Position specific speed and vertical measurement and assessment.  Digital video feedback system (Watch yourself perform a skill, watch someone technically correct perform the same skill)

Individual skill measurement and analysis.  Sports psychology session (maybe the most important thing we do?). Nutrition session, tryout tips to stand out from state championship coaches.  

Sessions focus on improvement, and ending with some play or fun drills.

1 Session - July 19-30, MWF, 3 weeks, 6 sessions, $290. (Time 9-10:30, 10:30-12)
